Our Auto Shop's History
After a long 17 year career at the automobile club, Paul decided it was time for a career change and trained as a service advisor under the guidance of a gentleman who owned 15 full service gas stations. Paul worked there as a service advisor and manager for 8 years.
He then worked at Jim Dickens Tire and Auto for 2 years as a manager and service writer.
He provided courteous, coherent and knowledgeable information about the vehicles, was always the model of understanding and helpfulness, and was always transparent and on top of things – attributes not normally available at all auto repair shops.
Because of the stellar job he was doing, his wife Linda and friends encouraged him to buy his own auto repair shop and run his own business. Paul teamed up with a Master Technician and did just that.
Daytona Automotive was purchased on July 1, 2008 by Paul. It was a struggling, failing auto shop, but Paul managed to turn things around, and since 2008 has built his loyal customer base to over a thousand.
